 ESSAY #18
TOPIC:
FORGIVENESS
It's hard to forgive someone like Bob Ewell, and it might also be hard to forgive Mayella Ewell for lying to the jury and ultimately causing Tom Robinson's death.
IN A 4-PARAGRAPH ESSAY,
  DISCUSS YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT
FORGIVENESS.
BEFORE YOU WRITE THE FIRST BODY PARAGRAPH, PUT YOURSELF IN THE SHOES OF BOB  AND MAYELLA EWELL. WALK AROUND IN THEIR SKIN FOR AWHILE. FEEL WHAT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN LIKE TO BE BOB AS A YOUNG BOY AND MAYELLA AS A YOUNG GIRL.
THEN WRITE A PARAGRAPH
IN WHICH YOU DO YOUR BEST TO FORGIVE THEM.
IN THE SECOND BODY PARAGRAPH, DISCUSS ONE OR TWO REAL-LIFE SITUATIONS YOU KNOW OF THAT NEED FORGIVENESS. DOES SOMEONE IN YOUR LIFE NEED FORGIVENESS? IS IT YOU? IS THERE A SITUATION IN THE WORLD THAT NEEDS FORGIVENESS?
USE THE 4- AND 11-SENTENCE FORMAT,
AND INCLUDE A SELF-ASSESSMENT WITH YOUR SECOND DRAFT.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
USE AND IDENTIFY ONE EXAMPLE OF TRICOLON IN EACH BODY PARAGRAPH. ALSO, USE AND IDENTIFY ONE APT THESAURUS  WORD IN EACH OF THE FOUR PARAGRAPHS.
